New Ndola Stadium is a description of a new multi-purpose stadium in Ndola, Zambia, that is in the planning stages. It will mostly be used for football matches and hosted some events for the 2011 All-Africa Games. The stadium would have hada capacity of 40,000 people. It would have replaced the current large stadium in Ndola, Dag Hammarskjöld Stadium. It was to be built along with new stadiums in Livngstone and Lusaka. In 2010, the Chinese government announced that the stadium will be built.[1]
